Description

We've been adopted. Just before the snows hit, we noticed that a tabby, who wanders the neighborhood, had set up house under our deck. Mom, as it turns out, was accompanied by two youngsters who are not quite out of the kitten stage. This is one of them. This is a quite a situation. We don't really want to become a cat colony, but there are definitely worse things around! Ain't seen much of the latter since these guys showed up, so this is sort of working itself out. We'll see. Oh they definitely are goobers! Not too bright at all... PW was interesting. I cropped the image and sharpened it up. Then I treated it to the 'underpainting texture.' That's the funky effect. Then I repasted a copy of the sharpened image on top and erased most of the top cover leaving just the goober and the leaves to be sharp. Vignette1, vignette2, et voila! Un Chat Gouber purr vous! Thank you! Thank you! Merci! Thank you! You are too generous. No? Enjoy; thanks for viewing. Do look at the 'full size' image for best effect.

Dear TW, Im almost half way finished with the Citation stuff! Because of the computer problems this morning, I ended up doing an evening session to catch up. Saturday is going to be a light day and on Sunday I dont have anything scheduled. Im gonna use the time to do some more studying and to maybe take a couple of naps to catch up on sleep!! Next week is really going to be the crunch time! Im gonna have to go back to work to rest up from my vacation!!!! After getting powered sugar on my keyboard this morning while eating French toast I was surprised that it still worked!!! Ill have our long suffering IT guys look it over when I get back home. It certainly wont be as bad as the time I dumped in a bottom of nail polish!!!!! Whoops!!!!! ;-) While Im on vacation and doing pilot training, Im going to need to continue doing a lot of cut and pasting with just a tiny little real comment added!! Im really sorry, but I just dont have much time right now to write my usual wacko stuff! Ill be back on March 3rd!! What a darling kitty!!!! I can understand the concerns about become a colony, but he could resist that little face???? Super job with the photo and with the post effects!!! I think they've found a really good home!!!! I just looked up and saw Valou had commented before me!! She also had kitty pictures tonight!!! I'll have to see how many more I see!!!! Really darling photo!!!! Love ya!!!
