What an intriging artwork. Boxes that have become windows is such a creative idea. Looks like it has been painted with a palette knife. Beautiful abstract. :o) CC

Hey Jill! I loved this image the minute I opened it. Then I read the dedication, and liked it even more! :) The colors are amazing, luminous, wonderful. The way this looks like it's lit from behind . . . whew! Mesmerizing. The whole effect gives me the feeling of glass bricks (I love glass bricks!) with the sun shining through. (The two in the middle with the angled bottoms - the way they change color as you go down - looks like there's a landscape outside.) I'm totally entranced! This is a beautiful piece, and I'm just tickled to be the dedicee! Straight to my favorites this goes . . . (and it's really nice to have you back.) Hugs, Tara

A number of things come to mind, first I thought of a glass sculpture like stacks of ice cubes and then I visualized the interpretation of a stained glass window. I guess further study would only reveal a number of other possibilities. Thank you for sharing. egmont
