Thanks, Though If you use the pen tool and stoke the paths you will get a very smooth line. To get the variation in thickness I right click with the pen then select stroke path and then tick the simulate pen pressure, also and this is important make sure that the shape dynamics is on. and presto. it does take a fair bit of tweaking and practice to get the lines how you want them, but as you can see this is the result. I final thing, this is the scaled down version the origional dim is 4000*. Thanks again for commenting, it's good to get feedback when you have spent all day on a peice. I hope you have a great.
