The light is wonderful, the fur is perfectly captured, the sharpness of the shadows and the detail is striking especially with the depth of those beautiful brown eyes. What kind of dog is this? I've never seen one like it... looks like a Corgi-Collie-Border terrier cross. This is an excellent picture. I love the rose petal in the lower right corner. My only gripe is I would have liked to see the tops of the ears, but I know what it's like photographing animals. I like this piece a lot!

Thank you. No clue about her origin.. some cold hearted person dump her in a garbage zone when she havent even open his eyes. We founded and adopted her then... :-)

Yes,it is an art photograph.The composition with the shadows is great,the colors are great,it's not just a snap shot.
