Description

AlooooooooHa! I hope everyone is cruizen and doing something fun, instead of doing what you have to this weekend. It's nice to take a day off from life and do what you want....that is of course if life allows you to. More Rodeo action. This is a sequence of shots of the calf mugging event. In this event the calf is released from a cage or pen. The horse and rider must stay close enough to the calf to try and rope it. Now this is only half of it...Once the calf is lassoed the rider must jump off his horse, run over and wrestle the calf to it's back. Once the calf is on it's back the rider must then tie three of it's feet together. The calf must not be able to stand or gets it's feet loose. A time clock is then started to give the calf some time to escape. If the calf is unable to get loose it counts as a good run. The rider with the best time is the winner. This is pretty hilarious event sometimes because the cowboy doesnt always win. Some of those calves are just too fast. I saw many missed lasso's, and cowboys that just couldn't bring that stubborn calf down. I'm happy to say, no animals were hurt in the filming of these events.....but the cowboys took a beating. Thanks for coming by, and as always a big Mahalo for your comments on my previous images. Enjoy, Enjoy, the weekend. Aloha!

One sure could learn to lasso from these pictures. Cowboys and Cowgirls, they were terrific. Got to give credit to the horses too, they did a marvelous job. Excellent job. Aloha
