Hey, thats not modeled!!! Its a composited photograph!!! I smell a fraud!!! The challenge was for who could model the better Betty. Mine was modeled in 45 minutes, several years ago. It was never intended to be anything but a cute item and submitted as original content to a free website. Compositing, hell anyone can do that! C'on!! Model her!! I'll revisit her mesh and rework it, too. By the way, her hair disappears next next to CSI's jacket. Not good enough to be positioned beneath his chin. Nice try Grasshopper.

OK, You want me to critique my own work, I could be here for a while.lol The fact is, as artists, if we want something to look good, we have to spend time doing it. I spent some time on this, just it could use more time (notice the hands and the butt). Above H's head I put in a black box, I didn't want to go all the way across the page, I wanted it to look like a tabloid paper, but not. In the black box, it says Judgement Day: - OR DOES IT??? In the black box it actually says JUDGEME...( judge me ) I'm going to do one more Betty Boop picture for you Rocketboy... I hope you enjoy. oh my... Make more Betties not War :) I must admit I had never heard of any betty boob (funny name) so I can not tell which one looks more like her.. but the name of the lady is a KILLER.. and Killers are good in war-time :)

boobunny is absolutely correct. As artists we need to be able to take critisizm and learn... I've learned some things in this experience. I feel like Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future. He was always called chicken and had to prove he wasn't. I have had to stand up for my art, when I realize, I threw the first stone. I have appologized to rblue... I felt His feelings were hurt and I needed to say sorry. Did I purposely hurt his feeling??? No. What did I say? I said he needed to tape some pictures of Betty on his monitor so he could use them as reference so he could get her right (I was trying to be helpful). What did he say? Don't quit your day job. Since then, I realize we both post comments trying to say what comes natural. We both try to lend advice - Just sometimes our advice is taken wrong. We all need to take the time and understand what our comments to us mean. rblue has only a handful of pictures in his gallery, but two of them I remember vividly. One is a crashed rocket and the other is the Bates Motel... go check out his site and tell him I sent you. Rblue is an alright guy...find out for yourself.

hadn't really noticed that indeed I might have used too much brightness on ym scene... it's kind of tricky to get sharpness without over saturating, but I'm definately working on it... thanks for your comment and great job with the photomanip!!

I agree with Boobunny. Criticism is fine, that's how we all learn, including you Mike. I think you weren't giving constructive criticism to Rblue on his rendition of Betty Boop, you were being sarcastic and making fun, a tad harsh to a newbie in my opinion. He's only been on Rendo for 8 days. I think your render is very clever and imaginitive, excellent work. Now, children, go to your rooms and stay there until you can behave...geesh men! lol

delbeke, your message to rblue on the Betty Boop picture was worse than mine. you said something like you think the character is throwing up. I had american idol on my mind so I made a Simon.lol ...rblue is new to Renderosity, but it's quite clear he's been doing this for quite a long time.

Sorry Mike but I thought your Betty looked like a blow up doll coming out of Red's pants :) (ehehehehe...she said 'blow') I thought this was all in fun but now I'm not so sure. I don't like strife as the world is too full of it. Art is suppose to be calming, not fistacuffs, lol.

I do remember Betty Boop telling my age. Your Betty Boop definitely looks much more like the one I remember.

I remember Betty Boop! In fact now, if you go to any good video sotre, they offer a collection of the original Betty Boop shows. And BTW yours is a much better likeness
