BIOIn 1995 I began experimenting with computer graphics and discovered a whole new world of self expression and ways of combining my traditional skills, passion for drawing, painting and photography with digital techniques.
Fascinated by the final result of digital work.
I like abstracts, fractals, portraits, 3D images, etc.
With the computer I find a personal artistic tool and a means to express my sensibility, capturing scenes and special moments...

This makes me think of a lacy Victorian bedroom in the afternoon, with sunlight filtering through the closed curtain edges. Beautiful!

It seems to me that the young woman, base, wound into a ball in her armchair are quite alone, in this world of ingratitude... she has even evil to see its bunch of flowers!

Artistically impeccable, as usual. Excellent.

Moody and even slightly sinister (the reds!). The loneliness (self-inflicted, perhaps?) pushes all other emotions aside - it is almost tangible. On another note, I wonder what we would have seen, had you named it something else, like "Roses from a Lover"... Thanks for sharing, Elizabeth, excellent, as always :)

Very nice b/w.

From the thumb my first thought was aloneness and a broken heart. I still get that feeling at full view. Beautiful work Elizabeth. Amazing the emotion you evoke with these images.

Was the title inspired by the famous song? Excellent work!

Oh I love the colours in this one, very soft and subtle, enhances that little dash of red. I find the formations and use of colour in this rather soothing.

The titles do influence what we see. I see the loneliness we all feel, no matter how close we are to someone else, we are still alone within ourselves, unique in our own experiences. A most beautiful way to illustrate this, in black and white, like wonderful satins worthy of the gods, with just a touch of red to remind us of our mortality.
