I can think of worse places to crash...
Using the demo version of Xfrog to make some trees and I think I'm in love with that program.
The little animals are Caudipteryx, available from Content Paradise. Technically they are dinosaurs (raptor relatives) but they are so odd looking I thought they would make good alien beasts).
Looking for two pieces of advice (but feel free to comment on anything).
1) Has anyone got a good easy way to make a "bundle of clothes" type object. Vicky decided to doff her flight suit - would have liked a 'pile of clothes' although maybe she layed it out on the sand to dry out.
2) This is rendered in Carrara, and I've found the easy way to make distant planets is to make giant spheres and then place then very far away. I often find I get little blothes appearing on these 'planets' (blue here), whether I adjust or remove shadows from the object, or even if I take away any bump or highlight. Any advice?
Vicky is mostly wearing Uzilite stuff, although she's also spotting an Aery Soul armlet...
Thanks for looking...

These bundles of clothes are my problem too...... unfortunately I haven't figured out, how to make it until now. Same with clothes hanging on a hook.... anyway, I like your artwork very much, the giant sphere looks perfect! KEEP IT UP - MORE!!!!! ~Saskia~

In fact, the trees looks really good (although a bit too earthlike for an alien planet). The whole scene is excellent. Regarding your questions, the clothes are easy. Behind each piece of clothing, there's an obj. Just find it, save a copy, manipulate the original in any 3D program capable of polygon manipulation (3DS Max, Zbrush, for example; I don't know Carrara, maybe it can also do it), save it on top of the original, load it in Poser and do some final tweaking (rotate, twist, etc) and posing. That's it! I had never done it but just tried and it worked. If you have doubts, PM me and I will try to help further.

Aren't these those pesky little beasties that started biting that poor little girl at the beginning of Jurassic Park II?. maybe Vic should beware lest she become their next meal. Very nice work here, definitely deserves recognition. DPH
