Description

Hello hope you all had a good weekend. This is a shot of a soap film illuminated by a diffused light source, the colours are produced by a phenomenon known as Thin-film interference. This is the first in a series, let me know if you think it is worth showing the others as I am undecided at the moment. No post work except cropping and framing. There was some difficulty producing a decent depth of field due to the nature of the subject and the lighting requirements. Hope you enjoy it. Many thanks for viewing and commenting on my last image.

Gorgeous macro! Nice textures, also. Soap film makes for a wonderful prism in viewing the visual spectrum of light. And yes, I do want you to continue the series.
