Description

When Drew, my Son was home, he wanted to visit the Hermitage. With his help I managed to climb on top of the building. You can image our total surprise when we discovered two perfectly carved arm chairs on the roof!!! One much smaller than the other, the hermit must have had a friend!!! This is a truly incredible place in the forest, it dates back to 1790. I have never seen such strange light anywhere!!! I have shots of the Hermitage itself in my gallery. Have a wonderful Monday. I'm off to the dentist :-((( Hugs, Diane.

What a spectacular find and well worth the effort to get up there! The lighting is marvelous... not over powering and not too dim. Love this shot! I hope you have come back from your appt. with all your teeth and nerves working well. My dentist is a wonderful guy but I hate going to see him! I always come away dribbling out one side of my mouth and looking like something out of a sideshow at the carnaval until the numbness wears off.

Great shot Di. Maybe the hermit did not have a friend, he just liked a choice of chairs LOL.

I'm thinking the Hermit, being a "hermit" had a invisible friend. It looks like the chair is big enough for a giant lol. Wonderful find and photograph. Don't forget to take your tree sweater with you to the dentist. HEheh...Chocolate Hugs:0)bonita
