I don't like getting close to these creatures. But once the file gets to the computer I can appreciate how complex spiders are.

Fantastic shot! I love how you can pick out all of the fine details. (well kind of, these critters give me the heebie jeebies as well) Just how close to this not-so-little bugger did you actually have to get for this photo?

Using the 100mm macro allowed me to be within a few centimetres, the flash helped reduce any camera shake (which there was more then usual)

I have a thing for spiders (not a good thing) but for some reason I can't pass up clicking on these photos!!!! ARGH! ;) I love a great shot of them - as long as the picture doesn't move. ha ha Great shot! Now I feel things crawling all over me. . . .
