Description

Inspired by "Cricket's- Eden", I tried capturing a more grandure look as far as the city in size comparison. This was definitely a fun piece to work on. Hope you enjoy it!! BRYCE 5.5/Photoshop

Upper 2/3's is exquisite. Lower 1/3 looks good but is not as convincing. Good colors and just about the right amount of detail.

Now if you'd concentrated on the flyers like the one in your thumbnail and perhaps made this a space scene you would have had a winner here. However, you've cluttered things up with buildings that have no relationship to the flyers at all. The building with the vegetation all over it would have looked good surrounded by trees etc and with a little work, been made to match the spherical flyers. The other buildings simply do not work together. Even in New York the buildings stand in sympathy with each other. A quick look at the work of ORBITAL will show you what I mean. Calico1 has the right idea. If it was me, I'd scrap everything but the spherical flyers and start again. The SULACO types are wrong in this too. Sorry if I've gone on a bit and I mean no offense, but you have great buildings that have no business being in the same picture. 2

This definitely has great potential. Some good suggestions here. Still, I like the colors and effects. I agree with the Bryster, the thumbnail had a feeling of a space opera pic and would be a wonderful piece to see fleshed out.

Strange, this has a very early Bryce feeling, the bright colors, the neat edges, yet in fact something lackes in composition, but do not desist my friend... yes you can redone part of the stuff (the oval ships are great in fact) but you should try to darken part of the scene, or insert sharp shadows, and see what become of it... However, I appreciate your enthusiasm, one see that hours have been put here.
