Description


This weathered failing dogwood was born in the 40's. It was my mother's pride and joy. It has survived horrid storms and dozens of children climbing it and breaking it's branches off (several got broken bones from their fall) .... I'm sure it won't be as beautiful to you as it is to me though *L* ... The Tulip Poplar tree to the right of it was planted in the late 50's.

Not much lovelier than dogwood and tulip trees! How wonderful that it still stands after all these years. A very nice shot.
