Hey and welcome! My name is Brandy and I must tell you I'm obsessed with my camera. Whether its taking pictures of myself (as I often do...their terrible lol) or making my friends pose for me, I love using my camera. I have a Canon Rebel XT and I edit with Photoshop CS2.
I'm happily married (you may come across a picture or two of our wedding day in my gallery), and have been for three years.
I've been interested in photography ever since my freshman year of high school. I am currently a photo major in my 2nd semester of college. I've been using my Canon 35mm much more because of school, I sure do miss my Rebel. It's nice to go back and re-learn everything. Nothing is more "centering" than making a print in the dark room.
I've started studying color photography. I'm such a fan of black and white, I wasn't sure if I'd like color. This class has made me appreciate the colors nature gives us, and to realize that I can get emotion out of color and not just black and white. I hope to do well and do something with my education.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy my work as much as I have.

A very vulnerable image, but tender too. Well done!

I was thinking of a comment and then saw Kort's word : he says it perfectly : vulnerable and tender ! Great crop... I like it very much !

A beautiful capture, Kort says it all!

Nicely done and the sense of frailty is which makes this image... Even the crinkle in the wallpaper adds something..

i forgot which adjective i was going to use after reading what kort said... but yeah, definitely along those lines. the only critique i have of this shot is that the focus on the eyes is off. i think the connection with the viewer is in the eyes, so that is paramount in pulling this off. Great shot nonetheless :)

You reveal yet another superb capture. The intrigue of the paradox behind depicting a half hidden face alongside a bare body is accentuated by the models expression and pose as she attempts to rid herself of the grime and dust accumulated through daily affairs. The suds are themselves so perfectly frothy and clear emanating the freshness and purity they allow one to reveal, or the pain and experiences their aroma somehow allows one to conceal. The skin without is flawless, the eyes however seem saddened, troubled, unsettled. The image as a whole is outstanding. Bravo.

i like the contrast between the texture/noise from the bath suds and the smudged make-up, as well as the half-hidden portrait and the nude body. kudos.
