Description
I went to the hardware store tonight to buy chains for my tires. Imagine my suprise when the clerk laughed and asked "Yer not from round hea are ya?" I shook my head and thought to myself that his unmistakable Southern drawl didn't sound like he was from around here either. He said "Lil lady them chains you be wantin are illegal; but I could sell ya a real fine shovel.

Where is this????? Chains are illegal??? That's pretty strange, I guess that means your stuck??? Around here on the mountain passes chains are required!!!! Very cool shot with an amazing POV!!!!!!!!!!

I love the look of snow on a suburban street at night. I hadn't thought much about it but yeah, I don't remember seen snow chains outside of the Pacific Northwest much... I think they rely a lot on salting and taking "snow days" in other parts of the country :-)great shot.

A very beautiful snowy nighttime image! This instantly brought to mind a song from a Japanese group called "Dreams Come True", one of the few the lead singer does in English. I like Vile's idea too! Hope it's warmed up a bit.
