Description

Not my usual style, but I have been experimenting with different things. All done in Poser 6 and 7. I am still working on sorting my external runtimes and finding all kinds of stuff I bought and forgot about or only used once, so I am full of new ideas. It is so much easier to find things when they are organized by type in runtimes. The Seatraveler is by far the most realistic of the old ships and can stand very close hi-res renders. It even has a detailed interior and deck. I have several other ships but this one is my favorite. The water here is all Flood in PSCS2. Thank you so much for your comments!!!!! They make my work worthwhile!!

The pirate mood is wonderful here--all those browns and golds--and I would never have guessed that was postwork water--the ship sits in it just right!

First of all congrats on taking on something "not your usual". I have avoided "ship renders". This came out very nicely. One note and one question: Your ship must be very empty as it is riding quite high in the water. Sink it a little and it will have more weight. The light in your sails, is it Sub-Surface Scattering or did you fake it? (for me there is no crime in faking it as contextually it is all fake). I think that is the area that could use a little more attention to get across the idea that the sun light is being filtered by the sails.
