Description

Nothing here to change the world. The thing I like best about this is the texture, which is a photo taken by einzie1. I wanted it in my gallery next to my posting from yesterday. This is not the same texture photo as the one I ran through Photoshop, but it's in the same series.

this is technicaly your best render. the texture does work wonders for that vase. nice work. did you map the texture in black and white as a bump map as well?

Glad you like it! I didn't do a b/w bump - just set normals to 2 on the colored photo. On January 28th I posted the same pot with a different texture. All the settings were the same, except I may have moved one light just a little. I find it totally amazing how changing a texture can change the entire image so much. (Of course the difference is really obvious when there's only one!)
