Dear Rozanne, Yep - I've scene that look before - and not jsut on tapestry!!!! Some things were made to NEVER be turned over!!!!! Or even worse, opened up!!! I needed a multichannel powered mixer last fall - they cost 3 or 4 hundred bucks!! So I cruised over to Fry's Electronic and left with $20 of componets in a bag. No circuit board, no ground plaen, just a rats nest of chips soldered together!! And it works fine and with the cover screwed on, no one will ever know that it looks like it was wired by a weedeater!!!!!!!! Some things people don't need to know!!!!!!! Super photographs!!! Love the contrast!!! Now jsut hide the back and whack anyone that even things about looking back there!!!!!!!!!! ;-) This afternoon is the big moment - going for my checkride in the Citation X!!! Woo-Hoo!!!! (I love the smell of jet fuel!!!!!!!!) Actually, that might be a good time for everyone to take cover while a wacko blond is punching hole in the sky!!! Of course, Ill mostly be around Wichita, Kansas, so most folks are probably pretty safe - and Ill be on the short leash of a flight examiner! However, I did think it was pretty tacky of the insurance folks to cancel the insurance of everyone in Kansas for the duration of my flight!!! ;-) What a bunch of creeps!!!! Ill be back sometime tomorrow - still trying to figure out how Im gonna get back to San Antonio, Texas to pick up my car so I can then drive back to Houston!! Unfortunately I dont get to take the Citation X home as a souvenir!!!!! Darn!!!! (And yes, I did ask!!!!!) ;-) Love ya!!! Meredith Meredith Elaine Wilson - MeredithLand

Great illustration, Rozanne. My old gran told me that life as we saw it was the 'wrong side' of the tapestry with all the knots etc., but that God saw the other, the 'right side', and that it was what He had planned from the beginning, and that one day we would appreciate it, in all its glory. I watched a program on BBC2 the other day, PORTRAIT OF THE DALES, about a local born artist, an Andrea Hunter.., who lives up in Wensleydale in Yorkshire. She uses coloured merino wool strands, moisture and friction, to produce felted wool pictures of the fell sheep etc. Not tapestry but still a very skilled, creative craft. ( www.craftmaker.co.uk/andreahunter/ ) Regards, John.

Oh! You take me back in time. This is so beautiful, Rozanne. I love the colors. I used to do this and still have some gorgeous yarns. I can't part with them. I love that you captured both sides of the tapestry. Beautifully presented too.
