Description
He came to me in the night.
His song slicing the darkness-
through my sound slumber-
sending a rush of something
through my exposed vein.
It was quick and sharp...
the snap of rubber on my arm-
the tap, tap, tap and hit
piercing my tender skin-
then he seeped in to me.
I thought it a dream,
this reaching out from afar...
this finger on my heart;
pressing, pressing...
until through beating muscle -Breaks!
My blood is everywhere.
A call for help in the night
