Description
Shot taken this afternoon on the river Esk. Two swans were together on the opposite banking from me.. I called to them, they actually came to me!! Goha adores swans, saw her first swan in "real" last year, in Poland. This swan is for You, Goha! I have supper to cook now... so, best get at it :-) Happy eventime, Hugs. Diane.

Great swan, Di. So if there were 2 and you called them and they came, why is there only one here? Are you sure you didn't have a nip of killer wine before heading for the water and mistake the reflection for the second swan? It's ok. I totally understand those "lost" moments... LOL

Such elegance and beauty they have! I love the reflection, and the ripples. Shortly after my Mom died my middle child Julie had an encounter with a wild swan at a park. It would swim to her every day we went. It wouldn't go near anyone else. She was convinced it was Nana's spirit telling her she was fine and missed her. BJ
