Description

This is a sword, (and a glass just put in there for fun) The sword is modelled after the frankish way of making swords. This was a big staus symbol amongst vikings. Very expensive this one. My metal materials is nk data files. silver for the pommel and guard. And titanium for the svord blade. The vikings didn't have any titanium that is but it would be nice to have one in titanium :). All other materials I made myself. Don't know if the glass looks allright with the base as a mirror. not intended but it function just like a real mirror. Glass infront of a plan surface. The scene have 2 lights and is set in a box with 3 walls roof and floor to get the lights up. Rendered in indigo 0.6 for 9 hours overnight. A little gaussian blur and resizing in gimp to get the noice reduced. All comments are welcome

where did the little black dot come from? you need to make the floor have a more varying color, otherwise the handle's 3d surfaces become invisible and it doesnt do justace to the modeling.

The black dot come from? That I wonder too. Maby its a small error I made in Gimp when doing the stuff there. And Yes I sould have a more diverse floor. I see that but have not gotten around learning the basics of adding texture to the thingies.
