Well here's the perfect reason for me to try HDRI and use the IBL lab in Bryce. I can not tolerate the long render times because I only have a cheap laptop to render on when I'm busy on the main one. I love this fanciful and expertly crafted image...bravo! One thing though, I love to read a bit of comment with the images. Would have been nice to know about the probe you used and something of the model and placement. Sharing info and all that :)

Thanks to All, It's very pleasant for me, that you liked this pic ;-) Burpee - don't hesitate to try IBL in Bryce - my PC has poor power too. But if you'll set "Quality & HDRI Effect" in IBL just slightly above zero - you'll see the effect and your render time will not so terrible. Moreover - for fast testing IBL in Bryce use low-res hdr images. For example, "gradient blue" or "gradient spectrum" from www.accustudio.com For this pic I've used "bearmtn"-hdri, converted to Bryce-probe format via HDRShop. Quality, intensity & HDRI Effect are about 70%. The dandelion is modelled in Bryce as a lot of elements(terrains, symmetrical lattices, spheres) & textures of natural flower. Best regards!

Pretty amazing. Congrats too!

David Wiles, Many thanks for such estimation. It is very unexpected and pleasant for me! Really, this scene is very simple. But because of IBL and DOF the render requires very long time. The picture having the size 1024x768, is here http://www.oluntsia.info/LagePics/dandelion_1024x768.jpg.
