Description
I closed my eyes against the sight, fiercely hoping somehow that it had been a cruel hallucination. It hadn't. Of my own free will, I had subjected her to more pain than I had inflicted on my worst enemies- simply because she would not scream. I covered my face with my hands to shut out the sight of her, but the vision of her dead face was swam superimposed against the darkness. It seemed that I would never again see anything else, when I closed my eyes. My body convulsed with a shudder of horror and grief, borne of the irrevocable knowledge that I had killed her.
After a time, it slowly occurred to me that I had not been alone in this most unforgivable of deeds. Who had beaten her brutally, cut out her tongue, and then led me down here, knowing perfectly well what I would do? And who had urged me to make her scream, when he knew that she could not do it? Slowly, I looked up at Morgan, the perpetrator of this torment. He met my furious gaze unflinchingly, and for a moment, I was rendered speechless by the utter anguish and rage that consumed me.
"You have betrayed me," he said, in a tone that for all its calm, reflected my own pain, "I would not have betrayed you if my own life were at stake.

Excellent, but I think he would have removed the bag over her head out of curiousity at the beginning of the torture.

About a year and a half a go I looked at an image called "The Diary" and was intrigued by the words that went with it and left looking forward to more about the one called Autarkis. Ocasionally there were other images about him and the accomanying stories and it was a treat each time I came across one. For quite a while there was very little (disappointing I must say) and then all of a sudden almost one every day. I was thrilled! I look forward to each new installment, sometimes with trepidation, and when I have the time, I also read viewers comments, and I can see I am not the only loyal follower of your excellent writing and wonderfully done images. I am sure there are many more who are silent. The depth of emotion in this installment is truly moving, both the words and image. Awesome work on this whole series!!!!!!!
