Description
I was given a gallery to myself in the New Ibera artwalk friday night. I met a lot of people and saw they faces as they look upon my art. I could not bring some of my best ones for the car I was hopen on did not come lol[too big to put in the truck] But I did see what the people liked and I saw them looking at four images. name of the image is "boats" on page 31. A pro photo man came in and say they was the two best ones. Boats will win contests. I walk and saw his work lol He is super good. I had a lot of old work which was ready to hang so I bought thoses to the artwalk. Now I got to take those images out and put new ones in the frams for the next show which is in two months lol [one man show which will be hanging for about a month.]
My son say I do not post the best images I have. He helping me some on the show that is comeing up.
You see the builing I was in that is the man name that let me use his gallery. I thank him a lot. Wish I took his photo and the pro photo man too. They was in another gallery across the street.. I did take some photos of what the streetwalk was like. I had my digital and my film camera. My film camera had b/w infrared film in it. Hope they come out. My first time to use it.

Dear Jock, It sounds like you show went really well!!!!!! And now you're gonna be doing a one man show!!!! That is really cool!!! I think maybe I sure get an autograph now before the paparazzi star swarming over you!!! And I'm not teasing!!! You're gonna make it big!!!!! I took a look at you boat picture!!! That was really nice - the reflections were beautiful!! You had posted that while I was away from Renderosity so I hadn't seen it!! I need to look back over your whole gallery!!! I jsut noticed the wild roof on the gallery!!! I'll bet that was a crazy thing to build!!! The gallery looks really nice and it all looks so professional!!!!!! Congratulations on your show!!! Keep us posted about the next one coming up!!!! A quick update - I passed my checkride on the Citation X!!!! WOO-HOO!!!!!!! But I had a REALLY crummy trip home. I got a ride on a CJ2 to Addison (Dallas) but then couldnt get to San Antonio. My stupid flight manuals were the problem! Southwest wanted a LOT of money to carry them as they were WAY over the baggage allowance!!! I finally got a ride in a Lear back to SA. To find a dead car battery - and then drove 200 miles back to Houston!!! Its been a LONG two days!!!!! Ill be catching up on stuff at Renderosity tonight and tomorrow!!!!!!! Love ya!!! Meredith
