brand-new poser user; first contribution, ever. simple render of a character using alex texture, victoria 2, and casual hair.... it was fun!

Very nice for a first effort...and welcome to you! The dials control generally elements or position of your current selection (body, body part, prop, light, camera, etc.) They can be anything from the focal length of a camera lens to the shape of a nose to the width of a light beam. For newbie questions, check your "help," which is the Poser manual (I always start with the index at the end). If that doesn't answer your question, check the poser software forum (link on the right). Before the first posted topic, there's a link to the "Poser FAQ." If the FAQ doesn't answer your question, post it in the forum. Most people here are helpful; you're generally likely to have an answer within hours.
