Description

Declassified. Main render work was done in Vue6 then some post work in photoshop. I was trying to create the type of photograph taken by servicemen on a regular B/W 35mm still camera, filed and then released for public view. Tinting and motion treatment was done in photoshop. Aircraft models: P51 from Vue objects and the others by Peter Bratt sourced through Maxrealms. Hope you enjoy it.

EXCELLENT WORK! I love this type of image, with the 'vintage photo' look. Keep it up! Ps. Have a look at czarnyroberts war of the world images. He does a good 'vintage photo' too!

It's always difficult getting the balance between a nice image and a authentic looking B&W. I've had the same struggle, including an animation done in Vue. This works, but I think having one or two of the aircraft closer to camera might help? Just a thought.
