Abstact impressionism is less contradictionary than it seems, the last works of Monet came close to this description. Also this one is a nice example, full of mysterious impressionistic details and in great colors.

I love abstracts .. they leave so much to the individual to intrepret. I see the heart of the home, it seems to reside in the hearth ... Lovely geometry, proportions, colors, and such.
