Just stunning--the hall is a work of art in itself!

Great mood you created here! The hall is magnificent, quite proper for a king. As well as the lighting.

Wow stephen this is truly one of my favorites - not only the subject matter, but the magnificence of the image and those beams of light - fantastic. Great characters too! Make Human, huh? I may check that out. Excellent work, my friend!!
Magnatude
Interesting collection of characters and lots of interesting details. Wow, this must have taken forever to set up! Did you do this layered or layered in postwork?

Man! That hall is most Awesome!! And the volumetrics are marvelous. Well done!!

Fantastic composition!

Thanks for all the kind words folks. Judee thanks as always for your wonderful support. Check out makehuman - it takes a lot of the hard work out of ...er... making humans in that it gives you an anatomically correct base to work from! Magnatude; It did take a while to set up but I also relied on a few chosen shortcuts. Part of this involves using simple volumetric settings that I know give good results from earlier scenes. Whilst I did several test renders with the volumetrics on and could have acheived essentially the same result using trueSpace alone I've found that rendering the volumetrics on their own and combining them latter gives more control over the degree of effect, simply by adjusting the opacity of the relevent layers. Thanks again to all who commented. WZRD

Fantastic image!! This bodes well for those who would take advantage of the newly-free tS7.6. Obviously very fine work can be done using Truespace.
