Description

"The snow goose need not bathe to make itself white. Neither need you do anything but be yourself." ~ Laotse

We have some goose decoys in the small lake behind my house to help attract migrating birds. The local Anhinga like them as well, even going so far as using them as floating platforms on which to dry out their wings. The only problem is that when they jump off, the goose can capsize, resulting in the tragedy you see before you. Being the odd duck that I am, I had to record the event for posterity. ;'] *UPDATE* -- You'll be pleased to hear that the decoy was rescued before it took on too much water. It is now floating upright once again, patiently waiting for its next dunking. -----

That decoy needs another experienced swimming decoy along side of it to keep it afloat, lol. Excellent reflection. Love the updates. Aloha

This is yet another absolutely perfect pic!. The water has been beautifully captured and looks like silk and the colour of the sky's reflection is fantastic. Great story behind the picture too - thanks for sharing. xx
