Description

The top photo is with my film camera I had on my small lens. That why I did not zoom in on the bird better. But I also wish to see what this film do to. It my first time useing this film. Like to get the color infrared film but it going to cost $32 U.S.. Find some on the net for $22 but the shipping cost is $8 so what the diff??? This B/W infrared cost $18 and almost $20 to get it develop lol..It not cheap to play with this. I saw won the net where you can get your Digital camera to shoot infrared but it going to cost $350 just to do it plus you have to buy another camera to shot norm again lol. I got 38 images off the roll. thanks for every thing P.S. forgot to tell you the photos was done one week apart at the same place [the old golf place I showing in the past few days] I know they not the same but the plant life is the same and they next to each other. So you can see the diff

Magnificent captures. I don't know which one I favor most. I really love this stuff! I didn't know infrared was so expensive! I was thinking about going that route, but after I read your text I can forget it for the foreseeable future.

Infrared does not like lenses. It prefers front surface mirrors. You can get those big reflector lenses but maybe the objective absorbs a lot too. It also becomes diffuse at the first surface it touches. It does not follow an exponential loss curve. The grass when warm and the water all might be hotter than the bird some days. Something to think about.

The infrared version looks like something from a fairy tale. Very impressive.

Nice experiment! And I agree - a bit steep in price! :) The lower one could have been shot down here in Florida - it's just beautiful! Bravo!
