these are some poems I wrote two years ago that I just re worked a little today

If I were
If I were a poem that every one loved
You would be my words, my rhyme
If I were a song that touched the heart
You would be my chorus, my notes
If I were a painting that made people think
You would be my colors, my brush strokes
If I were a shooting star that someone wished upon
You would be that wish, my wish
If I were a prayer that god heard and answered
You would be the miracle, my angel
If I am special or handsome in any way it is only
Because I have you, I want to always have you
You are everything that is beautiful inside of me
You are my whole world, you are my everything
If we were Stars
if we were two stars in the nighttime sky,
We would be the brightest starts, this I know is true
Our love would be seen clearly even by day
But all stars must someday die no matter what we want
If you were to fade away, burn out before me
My light would die out as well never to be rekindled
For you will always be my one companion star
