My brother-in-law made a model shrimp boat in shop class many years ago in high school. He gave it to us a few years ago when he completed the building of his own working shrimp boat after 16 years of hard work. He built it himself with his own hands and now earns a living working it. We plan to restore the model this next year. That side of the family has been working commercial shrimp boats out of the Gulf Coast for several generations. Yes, this model has the same marvelous attention to detail that true lovers of boats and ships harbor. Great shot once again.

A most impressive bit of detail on these models. Be nice to see them out in the water too. On some of the paintings they should try to replicate some rust. Hope you upload some more.
