Description
This is the final shot in my series. Today is so very special for me. My gallery is one year old today, please celebrate with me :-) I have learned much from you all. For this I say, thank you. I have met with so many wonderful people who have given freely so much help to me. Your friendship and care have sustained me, though good times and though bad. I dedicate this flower to ALL of you. I swoon with the amazing colors of the petals - the way they fade one color to another so effortlessly. The detail of the many little do-thingies is so electrifying... pulls you in. Have you counted them to see how many there are? I think maybe 29 of the smooth ones... Not even counting the tiny center ones and the fluffy ones make me dizzy! But this is so wonderful that I was drawn to count those smooth ones. So excellent, Di, and I'm so glad to have spent most of your first year here with you!
