Description

I nearly discarded this as I got the focus all wrong - hence the jetty is very fuzzy. Long exposure at dusk, Portinscale near Keswick, Cumbria UK. Best viewed full size. Thanks for looking & any comments. ~Steve~ Canon 5D, 17-40L @19mm, F22, 5 second exposure, ISO 50

I'm glad you didn't discard this picture. There's something undefinable about it that is very appealing. I think it is a combination of composition, colours, and indeed the unusual focus. Sometimes the best photos aren't at all what we planned them to be. ;)

Excellent capture, The blur I would have put down to FOF if you didn't sat anything, Thanks for your comment on my night shots, yep 61 sec is right, the camera thinks (writes the the memory card) for the same amount of time as the exposure takes Stuart

I just love this! The softness could be attributed to DOF, :), and the eye is drawn to that beautiful reflective water! Stunning sky and background and a superb composition!
