Hi guys! Not everything alive on a beach. I find this crank wheel in a shipping harbour. Help me out I have no idea what is been use for, but "salutes" to every ship coming to bay. seeeeya

Its a superb capture, Tunde. Love this rust. I like finds like this :-) Could it have been used for hauling cargo from ships.. As the daughter of a Navy Man, I should know. Maybe for ships to tie up too?? In other words.. I am clueless :-((( Would be very interested to know what it is.. If any of the brains here know :-) Hugs, for happy night. Di.

Nice finding tho.. And i love rust...and regarding this piece... i believe it is a piece from an engine. I mean ship engine tho! They use similar pieces to pull boats, ships from the water sometimes. But that seems to be a real old one ;) Thank you for the post and have a wonderful day dear JOE

Nice capture of this thingamajig, Tunde. I don't know what it was used for, but it looks about 5,800 years old. There may have been some very advanced civilizations back then...Atlantis, maybe? The rust really comes through on this capture, and complements the reddish surface it sits on. Bravissima!
