Hiya. Lets see. My name is Missy (not Betty). I live in Washington State with my hubby of 26 years and 3 children. My hubby is a lawyer and I'm a stay-at-home mom. I've been into graphics since 1995 and discovered 3-D sometime around the late 90's using a program called Simply 3-D (I think). I rendered the most awesome spheres lol! I was hooked. After following many webrings I discovered a Poser webring and then saw some images that for the time were really neat. I talked my hubby into buying me Poser and that was that. I'm now using Poser 8, Bryce 6, and considering buying Cinema 4D when I can afford it. I love making whimsical images. I love to think someone is smiling or laughing when they view my images. I'll throw in a serious one here and there but whimsical ones are my favorite. I recently took a 3 year break from 3-D, and when I came back I realized how much I missed it in my life. I feel fulfilled again. My only advice to anyone is that if you feel the urge to create--don't stop because you think your work isn't fantastic. I compare myself all the time to the fantastic artists around here and I have to tell myself to stop it daily. Just do your own art and if it makes you happy, remember that is ALL that matters. Thanks for viewing my info! Hugs, Missy

:-) Fab orb!. Some of us were just destined to get hooked! I got led astray by Spiritfoxy and Lyric. I got hooked on their renders first ..for a long time I resisted trying my own. LOL..living proof that resistance is futile!!!

That was an ambitious render for your very first one! I'm embarrased to say that it took me 6 months before I managed to get a render done and that was only with the help of a kind soul over at Daz who walked me through adding a figure, adding clothing, adding hair, applying a pose and lights. And my render was no where near as nice as yours. Bravo!

Oh, by the way, those of you sweet enough to look at my image but missed my comments, and still told me how wonderful my orb is, thank you. Really, I appreciate it even now. Plus I know a lot of people do not speak English here at Renderosity. Still, I hope I hear a lot of stories!!!

great render...reminds me of something Pink Floyd would do for a cover shot!

When someone installed the software on my old computer they gave me a copy of Poser 3 (i think) After making a crappy animation of stick man falling down the stairs, i got bored and didn't try it again until a few years later when someone told me about Rendo and i saw what Poser was really capable of. Then i got hooked! Cool orb btw!

A wonderful orb! The coloring is fantastic. It is fun to go back and look at our first renders and see the difference in work then and now. I started out in Bryce eons ago and then went to Daz. Have poser, but really haven't done anything it.
