I was experimenting, teaching myself how to make planet-like images. This is the best result so far...

I did think about reducing the sun's strength, but I think this is the way it actually would be in outer space. ...but heck, you're right. That's what artistic license is for

This is my first visit to Renderosity, and this is the first image I've seen. Wow! if this is what the rest are going to be like, I sure will enjoy this place! How much practice have you had with terragen? I've only just d/loaded it and it seems awfully hard to get results like these... oh well.

well done! reduce glow amount and power, sunlight reflection spread to 2 or 4 sunsreflection to 1 - 2%
