A great catch of a yacht with a background..I suggest that you contact them as its worth selling the owners a copy of such a superb image.. Thomas Jacobsen, one of Australia's most exciting young designers, with a range of smart tables sold through Space furniture, has combined his penchant for sailing with his eye for interiors in an exciting new yacht called Engineered in Space (EIS). The Scott Jutson 12-metre boat was reworked for racing and pleasure sailing on the harbour. All the control lines are black, the sails are black carbon fibre and high-tech Twaron, but it's "the small apartment" below decks that really challenges convention. The interior boasts high-gloss black fibreglass finishes, a five-millimetre-thick, stained-black wenge floor with 10 coats of high piano gloss, organically dyed, bright-orange leather upholstery, the latest LED lighting, European electronics and switches, and tapware, plates and cutlery from the Danish designer Arne Jacobsen. Then there are the stainless-steel stairs, Burmese teak bulkheads and stainless-steel roller door concealing the crockery in the chic galley. The boat has a huge cockpit for social sailing and a large steering wheel pushed forward to allow friends with limited sailing experience to sit out of harm's way while enjoying the ride Contact details www.thomasjacobsen.com/home
