Description
It looks a peaceful scene but this is the beach this morning and the wind has been howling for weeks. A cyclist in front of me crashed off his bike quite suddenly so I stopped to check he was okay. We couldn't see any reason that his bike had skidded except there is a coating of sand on the promenade. The Saturday drivers are driving like lunatics today and I almost got knocked over twice on the way home. Why do some people open the car doors without looking behind them? And one "chulo" almost slammed me against a wall. The wind is making everyone mad!

Take care, Rozanne. Wind and the other elements can make riding conditions treacherous, and I can confirm that I have seen a lot of 'blind' drivers recently, as well as a lot of unthinking passengers too. Every time I see such beautiful scenes I get this lustful desire to go the place. However, the "chulos" changed my mind in this case. LOL! Watch your step Rozanne, obviously they aren't going to. x:)

Wow....sounds like quite the "fun-filled" day :) But you know what, that just means that tomorrow will be a better one. Your image thus, is deceiving, simply because it speaks otherwise, and to the contrary is very beautiful; rather soothing to the eye. It has a stillness about it, that makes you want to stand right near the water and feel the breeze about you, listening to the silence.....(or imagined silence.....hehe). I really like the way you've angled this photograph, and the POV it takes.... as though there is an onlooker from within the forest, looking outwards.......... Hope you experience days which are less "eventful", but nevertheless a remarkable composition! :)

C'est un endroit paisible..mais il y a parfois des moments ou il vaut mieux rester au lit...no pain no cyclist no wind!!!take care of yourself..don't take a bath to day it is too dangerous..Mr homard is a little worry for you..what can i tell him?
