Hey Everyone!! March 9th is George's (Parthius) Birthday!!!!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEORGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you've had a wonderful day!!!!!!!!!!!! ******************* AND - for any of you smarty pants "clock watchers" you'll notice this is a few hours late for March 9th!!! I was wrapping this up and then two things happened within 30 seconds! One - my internet connection at home went down! Two - as I reached for the phone to call my "ISP," my "ISP" called me because the internet pipe was down!! My "ISP" is the office - and our fiber connection as provided by a "well known North American phone company" was in the dumper - and not only did I need to get George's birthday stuff posted, but there was a LOT of stuff we were trying to get out from the office!!! So I cruised over to the office to add my voice to the screaming at a "THE phone company" that can't seem to keep their circuits going!!! Eventually it got fixed - and we got stuff finished - and I spent most of the night at the office - and I drove home - and added this little part to the post - and finally got it loaded!! Anyway - here we go again!!! ******************* George is a super sweet guy that I've known since I first arrived at Renderosity. He was there for my very first post - and all the rest!! I'd be hard to count the number of IM's we have traded about everything imaginable, but it is many, many hundreds!!! I've treasured his sweet words, advice, and even his comforting shoulder a few times!! George is the truest of friends that anyone could ever ask for!!!! BUT - unfortunately for George, I haven't done a very good job in repaying his loving friendship!!! It all started when my "Digital Meredith" woke up and figured out how she could crawl through the monitor into DNALand. Even worse - she taught George's "Digital Girls" also how to crawl through the monitor - AND - they sort of took over his whole life!!!!!! It wasn't just all the goodies he had to buy for them - clothes and stuff - it was that they "convinced" him that "certain upgrades" were needed. So in an attempt to maintain peace and sanity, poor George was forced to move everything from Poser to Vue! (Check the prices on Vue "Everything!") But no matter how hard he worked, the demands got worse. So he bought Lightwave "Everything" (Check the prices on that, too!!!) And then - the ultimate demand was made - for a brand new mesh from the ground up! Creating a character from a blank slate is a VERY daunting task!! Trust me on this - I was sane before I created "Digital!!!" And - to really do the new mesh to his Digitals' satisfaction required yet another move - this time to Maya!!! (And hold your breath while you check the prices on that!!!) And then of course there were all the add-ons. And all of it required a LOT of money and a LOT of time. Poor George could see his whole life slipping away but there was nothing he could do to stop!!!! And with each new improvement to Kaleigh, she took over a bit more of his life. It was so sad to watch his downhill slide - all his money, then his job, home, car, even his family - all sacrificed along with his sanity for "Digital Perfection." BUT - we're gonna make things better!! As a birthday present from me, I've enrolled George in "Digitals Anonymous!!!!" I just know they'll be able to help him recover!!!!!!!! And Jocelyn and Digital are over at Kaleigh's new DNA Pet store picking up a special present she's giving him!!! He won't have to live on the street anymore!!!! Woo-Hoo!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEORGE!!!!!!!!!!! I hope your birthday was the best!!!!! And I hope you recover quickly!!!!!!! And - I hope you FORGIVE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;-) Love ya bunches and bunches!!!!!!!!!!
