Great sleuthing Bobby, I tried to contact them with a fake hotmail, but it got me nowhere, so if you can't threaten them...what's left to do ? apart from what Meredith already said, slap more warnings and links to "as seen on Rendo" on it, also most are sold as wallpapers, so make smaller renders ? The thief doesnt claim to be the artist, he even adds the original artist to the title. Nevertheless its at least an unauthorized exhibition. Foere sure he didnt ask the artists.

Hi Bobby, I waided through that site also last week, only got part of the way through it as my connection is so slow, then crashing my system, I didnt understand the whole site one bit, are they selling? im going to set a forum site up purely for these sorts of incidences and urge all who post here and elsewhere to contribute to it, basically if anyone sees anything in passing that dont look right or if they have their vigilante helmet on is to post all findings there, if enough people view this site and act on it then it might work in reducing the numbers of these sorts of rip off merchants, we got rid of one from photobucket last week and hopefully will do more, The forum is there as a platform for all to use and not left to one or two individuals to do all the work and then others to view and act on their own pics, the more who help out the better!! this is a page i set up last week before they were removed, the album owner left all the names on so it was fairly easy to pinpoint out people http://www.lullys.com/ripoffmerchant.htm this person also goes by several differnt names and I have been advised by the mods at the copyright forum here that shes been banned under all ehr clones, however she has these pics and likely to set up under one of her other names, I will make a point of putting her first on my forums giving all sudanims I see folk have been saying over and over again that this is an old story, but what in the past has been done about it? people give up so easily when it comes to this sort of thing, thats why its still going on now, we are a force of 10s of thousands of people, if a small percentage of us act accordingly like you have above we may well make some sort of difference!!!!

Souless boobs, the same is occuring around the world.I can't read Russian either and speak a teeny tiny bit.Bad words mostly It's more than probable the pirated images are being claimed as own.I am disappointed if people are profiting from the sale of such.But just using the interenet opens us up to all kinds of crooks,cons and people with vertically challenged thinking.Perhap a hundred thousand sites the world over and while I can take drastic measures to try and guard my work I find it enough to just to view and post comments! That and work and more art and eat and sleep :) :B eaver !

Yes, I posted something in the copyright forum some days ago...I saw this web site too and there are 2 images of mine...but as in the previous case I won't think Rosity will help us...I really doubt...They answered saying that the owner have to contact them to ask his image removed...they cannot do anything...anyway thanks for saying more people...I told some friends I found the images in the same web site... There, there is also another problem...an unreal virus message make the page closed so I couldn't check more then 10 pages each time..so I stopped and informed some friends searching for some help...but nobody seems to know how contact them... I discovered you need to register in the site if you want to contact... Anyway, I read some comments also in other posts talking about this russian web site that make feel terribly said..Even if we are a community we don't think in the same way...what the most part of us thinks they steal our works, some still continue in think that is something normal and something we should know before posting images in the web...I think we all know that it's a risk, but thi doesn't mean we have to accept it and keep the silence... I hope someday Rosity will keep this community more safe than how it is now... and just to let you know...most of the stolen images are taken from people banned from here...if you have a look at the following page you'll see it's a ghost home page of someone banned... http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/browse.php?username=ivanna if you have a look at the web page there is her name on most of the posted images...it is a coincidence perhaps...but in the previous case of stolen images they were taken and posted by a banned person from RR....
