Description

The inspiration for this image came from the trailer for "300," the new movie about Sparta. There's a brief bit of a woman dancing in a smoke-like substance and it's just gorgeous. i'm dying to see the film myself though critics aren't giving it high praises the way they did Frank's "Sin City", but you gotta admit that it does look visually stunning from the trailers... i like the movement in this, the lack of real detail to the background and the shadowplay as these all lend themselves, at least to me, to speak of a fuzzy dreamlike place and how those places often have a sense of swimminess to them [if that's a word or makes any kind of sense...]

Thank you for all the comments, everyone! I just got home a bit ago from going to see 300. I have to tell you, if you haven't seen it yet, don't let any bad reviews hold you back. This movie is an artistic orgasm. I'm seriously considering going to see it again tonight.
