great looking except the bubbles... I haven't done an underwater scene since being in 3D stuff, but if I were to do it, I think I'd texture a ball with a blue or grean reflection. then i'd copy and paste it on the image as a transparency. Ask around, I'm sure others have better ideas...Just trying to help give you ideas.

Lots of nice details here. I especially like the mermaid. However, a couple of things could be done to made it an even better picture. The first, is the mermaid's hair. Loose long hair usually floats out and up when immersed. The other would be to create a sense of being underwater. There is a flatness or lack of depth that takes away from the wonderful realism of the fish and mermaid. There are several ways you could do this. The simplest would be to simple play with some cloudness but denser atmospheres. Another would be to put the entire scene inside a large sphere or rectangle and apply a water material to it. I say this just to make a very fine picture even more excellent.
