Description

This is my very first attempt with Bryce 6...which I now own...I want to thank Dave for His tutorial class on the phone yesterday...we spent the whole day together so that I could learn this...I am by no means as good as I want to be with Bryce, I know the program can do so much more...but you know what? It's mine, all mine, I made it today and I know it has flaws but it's mine and I'm so proud...thank you so much Dave, for everything, you know what I'm talking about...smiles...Please zoom in for detail. I am very far behind on my comments...Alot of you have been emailing me concerned because you saw an image posted for me by another artist who said I was having some problems...I don't want to alarm anyone so I have been keeping it to myself until I get a second opinion but it concerns my left eye...as soon as I know anything I will let you all know. I am posting some info here from B_Peacock...He and nother artist have found a site who is stealing alot of art from Renderosity's artists, some of my work is there too so you may want to check these sites out to see if your art is on there then contack artist B_Peacock for further instructions...here is what Bobby had to say.... Well I have contacted Rosity about stolen images to Deb and Clint. Now I have not been commenting because I have been investigating a site that Jeff jif3d showed me were one of his images were. This is what I have found after about looking thru 300 pages of images and they all point to one person ????

Marley this great! You'll love bryce. I started out with years ago and still use it. It is un to use and once you you learn all the little tricks you will be amazed what you can do with it. There are so many good bryce tuts online to help you along. If you need any help just ask, this is something I know about. :o) Thank you so much for doing the wonderful research on stolen art. It will help so many people. A bloody shame people do this. Thanks Marley take care.

That is probably not easy to learn, you have done a good start, if this is your first try your gonna hit our lights out with your next Images ;-) I can imagine they have perhaps some of my Images stolen aswell, but since my Images are online in my Website www.multiple-realities.com since 2002 and befor, they`ve been flying around the web without my permission for a while, and I have such a wonderfully detailed Copyright Page aswell, and these Scabs really dont take notice of it, what a "Blthttttt....." Nevertheless, we want to see more of you here, I cant wait to see your next Item on the list!!!

Wonderful start-this was my 1st 3d program-have seen some incredible images made in Bryce although I hate the render times. It's really great for underwater scenes. I went to the site-it's Russian and hard to navigate. Have a great Sunday and Thanks for everything

I was thinking of the Karate Kid, Wax on, Wax off when he was learning. Since you say you're learning this, I have to ask you: Shaddow on or Shaddow off? Just courious if the obvious was overlooked or that is what you wanted. The water looks totally awesome. The mountain makes me think of the logo for the movie industry Paramount. The birds shadow makes me feel the rock is 2D, flat. Why do they call it the Island of hope? Hope that there is food on the other side?lol Great image and impressive. ...PS I don't sell any of my art from this site, so I will not be disappointed if someone uses it... I just wish they'd ask first.

Marly, I sure would be proud to be able to make a Bryce image this nice! The water, reflections, lighting, presentation and your added bird in flight all add up to making "Island of Hope" a visually pleaseing and top quality artwork!!! I even found one of my images at the site you mentioned above, http://www.artfile.ru/oboi/b/i.php?i=a|225155 "The Ecylpse by mcv" I sure do not remember them getting or even asking any permission to post this copyrighted work. My thoughts and very best wishes are with you as you face and overcome your current health issues, take care!
