Description

Good Sunday or Monday depending on your part of the world... I have been working in ArtRage to see if I could come up the look of wood, texture perhaps varnish and stain. I have a neighbor who has an old shed filled with bits and pieces of chairs, railings, window frames, all sorts of wood. I always wonder what he will do with all those odd bits, he always says he'll need them someday...I sometimes think he just likes to look at them. I have to admit, some of the pieces are old and beautiful and I am glad someone rescued them. This is my rendition of that old shed. Have a week everyone! Hugs :)

I couldn't sleep, either. The time change has me all messed up. This is wonderful! I can see the wood, and smell the old-wood smell of a shed like that. Beautiful work, my dear!

Really nice colours and tones. Great sense of depth makes this piece really fascinating. You've achieved so well the feel of wood - I'd love to touch it!

Beautiful. Love the brown tones. When I first saw it, it suggested a cliff or canyon walls, caves, tunnels, hidden places. Very nice work.

What a lovely piece - rich in texture and filled with nuances of colour and light. If I let my mind drift I can see a shape of a person - slightly bent down, perhaps trying to reach for firewood. I really like it.
