Description

Back-Up: Just working on a few things, Preping for some animation. The textures are as close as I can get,the mapping is one thing but to apply the needed filters was alot of work, learning as I go. The tanks and warthog and ships needed to be built for animation, getting the tires engines and such to move, has been alot of work but almost there../Credits Box model Bushhater10 //Base maps are from www.halomaps.org./// BG & Final Render 3D Max//// Hope you like. At first I did not notice the skull in the foreground; high attention to details, great sense of movement, and another fantastic sci-fi work! Wish I knew more about Halo, but a combination of time and FPS games making me violently ill is at cause. In real life I can toss a car around hairpin corners and breakneck speed, ride on a boat, etc... but get me in front of a FPS game and I get the worst motion sickness imaginable... sucks, because the graphics are a sight to behold! Back to the image, I also like how you composed the elements- theres a great sense of command to the center figure, and your stylization finishes the touch by taking away the computer generated feel, and injects illustration- sometheing truly unique.

Very good indeed, I recently made a production that contained my warthog for a couple of friends who told me at the last minute they needed a science project in 6 hours, I pulled it off, you can see the product at http://www.youtube.com/scruffystudios It was rushed, hence the glitchy animation, but I belive it may be relevant to what you are looking into...

Well it looks like I have new wallpaper for my desktop... What really gets me is the vast scope of this. (And quite a few of your other pieces!) You're able to cram so much into one image, yet the end result never feels cluttered or overdone. I think the framing of the Chief in the shot and the skull in the foreground really balances everything perfectly. Awesome work Tony, please feel free to share the animations with us when they're ready! (I made the Halo 3 beta list!) JT

Hey Thanks all I am happy you guys gales give this Image a green-lite, I used another program Trial ver Maya 4.0 for some parts of this Image, Maya has this very cool tool ?? something paint I think It paints High res again I think vector based mesh. anyways it paints plant life and othere type Images witch I then posted it into my final Max renter. Why Ive been working on my post skills is becuse Photoshop has this recorder again Im not sure of the tech name but, I turn on this recorder and then do out 1 image of post and then do this batch commant and it will apply the same post to however Images you want!. Oh and before I forget Raddar I meant to post Credits to the Vehicles Base model was from John Ribbons at hce.halomaps., I then remodeled some of the vehicles Warthog Pel's and tanks,. Anyways Im woundering if some one would be into doing a joint fan film?, I would have to ask the artis first but if anyone thinks they may be into it let me know Thanks again CHEERs All..

Really beautiful work. Great action pose and the flying ships seem to really add to it. I think you could add some postwork in behind the ships...They seem to just float but maybe some post work will make them really fly. Beautiful props and textures.
