Description
I just came across a portrait from 1990 that I'd almost completely forgotten about. Unfortunately, I was unable to get a scan of the original, but this photocopy did fine after a bit of cleaning up. This project definitely turned out about as well as my best (except the cat, anyway, which left a bit to be desired, detracting from the whole), and I'm glad to have found it. I plan to add this to my ever growing list of projects to be updated/revised to ePaint with PhotoSHOP. I've gotten the hair finished, but as with other jobs, I'm having a devil of a time with "painting" the faces. My skills with the tablet & brush settings aren't there yet. If anyone has any online resources they'd care to share on the subject, I'd be grateful.. (I'll be searching Renderosity for some tips to be sure)

There are some tutorials here on Renderosity about painting faces in Photoshop or any program like that with a Wacom pad. They are most helpful. I find your portrait to be outstanding, and as far as the cat, I really like it. That cat looks a lot like one of mine. You did a fine job all around. Most excellent. :o)
