Dear Sir Gugu, This is really a cool looking castle!!! And certainly built on the high ground!!! Makes for a great defensive position!!! The only different between then and now is that the area areound it would be brushed to makes sure that no one got to close unobserved - and to make it more difficult for sapper to get under the wall!!! Also, wit hthe interoduction of cast cannon, the days of fixed emplacements mostly came to an end!! Beautiful photo!!!! Love ya!!! Meredith
