If all that a woman's heart was to do was to destroy... then what does that say about the woman? A woman in love can withstand much and even ignore much. A woman truly in love will sacrifice until it nearly destroys her in the process. But the truth of a woman's heart is that it can find the strength of self-preservation. There is nothing in this world that says our heart must die just to allow the happiness of another. Personally I think this image actually reflects a woman's heart accurately. At least one with a strength of heart. If anyone has that strength to let go, then that is power. I always thought those words were true. If it was meant to be then love will come back... if not it won't and the woman is free. This image shows the distress of having to do such a thing but yet there is a will and determination of life in her eyes that says it won't destroy her in the process. It's a powerful and beautiful image.

I have sure missed seeing your work around, hun, but this makes up for it. What glorious colours and the bird is sumptuous. I think the comments on this thread have well risen to the current occasion, my darling, and I don't think you could have posted a better image. What is the adage - a picture tells a thousand words? In this image you have encapsulated the emotion of the moment and the feelings of many. Love that posseses, love that destroys, isn't love, it isn't even lust, it is an evil fantasy, a hex let loose on a beautiful world in order to destroy the happiness and lives of others. It takes a mature, a sincere and an adult mind to be able to love, only a child seeks to possess, only a child stamps its feet in temper, and only a child destroys. The pure innocence of your image displays this magnificently - an adult, a beautiful woman, a person who truly understands the meaning of love (and not just of one thing, but the love of all). Set them free from your grasping and let them roam happily in that freedom. Should they come back, your love has been rewarded ten-fold. Should they carry on in life without you, then you will always have the memory of your time together. This is gorgeous. Love the lady and the little bird is very cute. Outstanding done.

I see great sadness in her eyes of letting go, but also great love. There is a story of a wise king, Shlomo. Once two women came in front of him both fighting over a child claiming it to be hers and the king took a sword and was about to cut the infant in two as to give each a half. Than the true mother let it go (in order to give it to the other woman), as she loved that child more than she loved herself. Than the wise king knew and gave her the child. That is what a woman's heart is capable of. A beautiful render!

Iv'e always loved your images Maxine but this one is truly magical..It shows the strength of spirit of a woman..It shows that love can withstand anything that tries to get in it's way and even when that love is put on hold it can and will survive..If a womans heart is for destroying everything in jealousy then there would be nothing beautiful left in this world.. I miss you!!
