Based on a wide range of research on fractal generating algorithms, I developed a common framework to make fractals and other styles of super vector images. This is a good foundation for developing advanced fractal design interfaces. More and more different tools will be added to it without gaps. And thus a fractal universe will be created.
Fractal artists all over the world have invented a big bucket of algorithms. And based on them, can we do something special? The simple algorithm plus a special idea may produce interesting effects, I think. The next generation of fractal design must be human interactive design. Designers can put more personal styles into their artworks by visual editing. FMF's fibrics technology allows developers to create a standalone editor to help designers in their super vector artwork manufacturing. These editors can do almost all things. But how could we define styles for fractals?
And I'm now confused about the fractals and other styles of computer generated artworks. Is God also a fractal?

Hi Spanzhang It looks very nice and I am sure your program can do some very cool fractals. Sadly, it seems to have several issues: 1) I downloaded it via the link above. It gives me a version 1.0, not 1.3 after install. 2) If one clicks the desktop icon of the program two things can happen: 1) nothing happens 2) a splash screen appears. On my system it tends to simply remain visible, cannot be clicked away and covers the center of my screen, remaining on top of everything else. After some time (up to 5 minutes where that splash covers the Fractal program as well as any other application you start up) it dissappears without it being clear what brought it to dissappear. At least its gone then ;) 3) Your version is declared "international" but when I start it, all menu entries, the whole interface isnt readable. Instead I simply see the typical exchange fonts like little squares etc that Windows adds when it cant translate a foreign language set into displayable characters. I would love to try your program, but it gotta be a) startable without any trouble and b) the interface should be compliant with a standard western language and font set. Any help from you will be highly appreciated. Thank you :) cheers, Valerie

Thanks for all your comments! I'm very sorry that FMF has so many problems. There must be some errors in it. I refreshed the files on the web server just a moment ago. Please visit http://www.cgpad.com/cgpad_en/fmf_index.htm to download the latest version of FMF. Thanks for your interest!
